My Story & Approach
How I Got Here
When I began my counseling career five years ago, my initial focus was directed toward drug and gambling addictions. However, over time, I began receiving an overwhelming number of requests for help with pornography addiction. I quickly realized there was a massive, silent struggle happening, and many therapists were hesitant to touch these cases due to the stigma attached.
I decided to step into that gap. I recognized the deep need for a safe, empathetic space where young men could address these modern addictions without shame. Since then, I have specialized in helping individuals overcome pornography, sex, and social media addictions, allowing them to rebuild their confidence and their relationships.
My Methodology
Healing requires looking beneath the surface. My approach is rooted in understanding the "why." We work together to get to the root of the problem, which often stems from unaddressed childhood trauma or underlying emotional needs.
To create lasting change, I utilize Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). We focus on identifying and actively challenging the harmful thoughts and belief systems that drive the addictive behaviors, rewiring those patterns into healthier coping mechanisms.
